We started farming in Katahama, Makinohara City, Shizuoka Prefecture for over a century. Currently, the third generation is the president, and he is still engaged in agricultural management even now, when he was founded in the Meiji era and became Reiwa.

In the past, we used to grow oranges, candies, carrots, potatoes, Chinese cabbage, and cucumbers. Currently, we harvest seasonal crops such as tea in spring and summer, rice and red radish in autumn, and blue-necked radish in winter to earn a living.

The crop we are focusing on is tea. Fascinated by tea, the second generation bought a mountain, cultivated it, and expanded the tea plantation. Tea grown on the Makinohara Plateau is characterized by its deep taste and beautiful color that is comparable to that of tea from other prefectures. We grow tea leaves, process them at our own factory, and even commercialize them.

However, to this day, we have not focused on direct marketing to consumers and have delivered only to existing wholesalers.

Our corporate philosophy from the time of our founding is to support people's healthy lives through tea and to deliver the deliciousness of tea to as many people as possible. In the future, in addition to the corporate philosophy mentioned above, we will add value and directly deliver attractiveness to consumers as our vision.

Japan's agriculture is declining, but we will continue to engage in attractive agricultural business and promote employment for the younger generation.
