About Makinohara Tea

Due to the warm climate, you can enjoy new tea in the early part of Shizuoka prefecture in mid-April, and enjoy rich tea at 88 nights. "Fukamushi tea", which is made by carefully harvesting thickly cultivated tea leaves with soft buds and steaming for a longer time than the steaming time of "ordinary sencha", is the mainstream. It features a bright dark green color, a mellow aroma, and a mellow taste with less bitterness and astringency.

In addition, the Fukamushi tea manufacturing method is derived from the hand-kneaded tea manufacturing method of the Meiji era. The flavor is more important than the appearance. The tea leaves are steamed for a longer time than other schools, and the shape is secondary to the Yongkong type (the shape of the tea is not needle-shaped but jade-shaped). It was the beginning that the law was devised and spread. Since tea eventually drinks exudate, we encouraged delicious tea to drink even if it looks a little worse than tea that looks and has a good color.
